How to File an Allstate Hail Damage Claim in Texas
By Max Exteriors PDR · March 18, 2026 · 6 min read
Step 1 — File online, app, or 1-800-ALLSTATE
The Allstate Mobile app is the fastest path. You'll get a claim number immediately and can upload photos at submission.
Step 2 — Photo or QuickFoto Claim
For light hail, Allstate's QuickFoto Claim lets you settle via the app. For anything moderate or worse, request a field inspection or a body shop estimate.
Step 3 — Pick a Dallas PDR shop
Allstate's Good Hands Repair Network includes preferred shops, but you're free to choose any licensed shop in Texas. PDR specialists almost always come in under traditional body shop estimates.
Step 4 — Approval and supplement process
Allstate is generally responsive on PDR supplements when documentation is solid. Your shop should submit photos, dent maps, and labor justification for any additions.
Step 5 — Payment and deductible
Allstate pays the shop directly. You pay your comprehensive deductible at repair completion (unless the shop offers deductible assistance).
Tips
- Save all storm-day weather alerts as evidence.
- Photograph the vehicle within 48 hours of the storm.
- Don't sign the claim release until the repair is fully completed and inspected.
